Born and raised in Bermuda, Lisa Sheppard is Executive Director of the Bermuda Hospital Charitable Foundation (BHCF). Ms. Sheppard completed an Honours Degree in English with a Minor in Psychology at the University of Waterloo and attained a Certification in Thanatology from ADEC.

She moved back to Bermuda in April 2015, wanting to give something back to her community. Ms. Sheppard was subsequently hired as a Development Associate by Bermuda Hospitals Charitable Trust in March 2016 and promoted to Development Director in September that same year. She was then named Executive Director in June 2018.

Ms. Sheppard is looking forward to evolving along with the BHCF and providing strategic direction as the foundation moves into the next phase of fundraising and support of the BHB and health care in Bermuda.

“Health Care is so important to all of us. Supporting health and health care improvements in our community is vital! Without our health, nothing else matters.”
